Bassinet

So I am a bargain shopper these days!! I went the other day to the thrift shop in Mesquite and was shocked to find this bassinet for 10 dollars. So i baught it. It wasn't the cutest thing, but I figured that I could cover it with some cute fabric. So I tore it all apart and washed and scrubbed it up and it came out pretty clean. I tore it apart before I took a picture so this is it off of the metal stand.

HERE IS THE FINAL PRODUCT!!!!
This is what I turned it into. It turned out so stinking cute... I think!

Catching up!!

Max had Braden and Cooper come over and play couple weeks ago and I sent them all outside with swords to chop down my weeds in the back yard. They were up to the boys waist. They were doing a good job and chopping them down until they got tired and lay ed down in them. I seriously couldn't find them when they lay ed down. It was so funny. We played hide and seek and they just hid in the grass:)

Max is obsessed with the Cannon boys. They are like 9 and 11 but he wants to play with them like every day. They are such awesome boys and they are so nice and cute to play with him all the time. They have a blast on the tramp.

Aunt Lisa and Chris came to visit before they went to the Marie concert. We were so excited to see them, Aunt Lisa spoiled us with a darling baby outfit, and max an outfit, books, and games it felt like a birthday party. She is always so sweet to bring us things we love her and appreciate her and what a wonderful person and aunt that she is to us. It was so fun to have them here.

Aunt Lisa helping max ride his motorcycle bike. Just popping a wheelie!

Easter morning Max finding all the Easter eggs the Easter bunny left for him. So excited about the candy.

More Eggs and grandma Angie and Papa's house.

Max and cousin Hayden looking for more eggs!

This kid getting pulled around in the wagon.

Julia, Jessa, and Max playing dress ups. We have the Cute Little Princess, Little Miss Diva, and Mr.Batman. Max said to me,"Mom... I was going to save the day!" So cute and so much fun playing with the cousins.

My beautiful Garden!

I am so proud of myself because this year I have planted me a garden. It is actually growing and I haven't killed it off yet:) I was so excited I got these buckets from Rusty's mom and decided to try them out. Last year she did it this way and it worked great. Great for us too cause we don't need a very big garden. Here are some pictures to show ya how fun. This is my broccoli and lettuce, the lettuce I planted form seeds and they are looking good.

I have one little broccoli growing.....Yippee!

I went out to water today and found these two strawberries growing. Yummy!! I'm so excited to eat those. there were also three others growing, but were still green

Sugar Snap Peas.... these have been my favorite to watch grow, they are so cute and they were the first to pop up from the seeds. I also planted tomatoes and carrotts in this bucket.

This is the squash, zucchini, cucumbers, cantaloupe, and watermelon. It's looking good. I hope all my plants give me lots of fruit and veggies this year. I planted 6 zucchini plants and I'm going to learn how to make zucchini bread. Maybe!!!

Call me Grandpa Jay!!!
